’tis the season

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas:

  • 10-15 cm of snow overnight
  • A fully-decorated Christmas tree right behind me
  • A jar full of gingerbread cookies in the kitchen

Some of the decorating got a bit odd. In this picture you can see the man to the far left, apparently either a ghost or a Klansman; a Picasso santa claus close to centre (all red); and a squirrel (lower right). But in this picture you can see the Christmas octopus. How festive is that?
