I need to disabuse myself of that idea. The freedom isn’t in abandoning routines outright and hoping everything will work out at the last minute so I appreciate the routine as mindfulness.

I’m terrible at establishing routines, even though I know that they help me in the long run – it just takes too long for them to become cemented – and I end up getting off track in no time and *poof* – potential routine good. Can’t claim rebellion, just easily distracted.
