Champaign-Urbana? I mean, it’s a university town and all, but … that’s really all it is. Surrounded by cornfields for hundreds of miles, otherwise. :P

It reminded me a lot of Lawerence, KS. They are both supposed to be these awesome college towns, but I was just kind of unimpressed. This maybe because I’m more of a big city kind of gal. Portland seems small to me. Little Rock and Fayetteville aren’t to bad. I havent’ been there in about 12 years, but Arkansas is really beautiful state (and the real estate is dirt cheap comparatively.)

Sacramento and Salem suck my ass.

Baltimore, um yeah. How do you feel about crime?

Just my two cents.

In practice it’s a burned out ghetto full of heavily armed angry people, and a small number of asshole Yalie future Dubbyas. Not recommended for human habitation. Nuke it from space, etc.

At least that was *my* experience of New Haven.

No tee-shirt, didn’t bother. The only thing Charleston has going for it is the Capitol Market, which is honestly rather neat. Oh yeah, and Erin and Ferrell.

Still, I say “WTF? No.”

I’d compare them to … Newmarket and Pickering, ON, maybe?
