kareem: How's the online store project coming?
richl:  You'd have to ask Kim or Hisham, I think.
kareem: You've done your bit.  "found the location and hung the sign".  The 
        rest is for the store manager?
richl:  Well, there's not much to do when there is no business case or 
        application.
richl:  It's rare for the infrastructure side to do their part /first/.
kareem: That's true,  you could come to the party and be the only one there
kareem: I have my 3 blades and some disk...... hey where is everyone :)
kareem: Oh,  that project was cancelled month ago
kareem: I thought you had a scope/budget action?  but I agree without the 
        business plan,  that could be tricky
richl:  I have no idea how the online store is going, but the details of what 
        we're going to be giving Kim to take to the steering committee this 
        week isn't a very good answer to "how's the online store going". 
        Basically the project has not begun yet because no-one's gone "Yes, 
        make it so".
kareem: really,  there has been no "kickoff" meeting
kareem: Actually, the store  and the AMC are being used as pawns in the 
        bigger distribution discussions
richl:  Kim's managing the project. If you need project details she's the 
        one to talk to.
richl:  She'll be able to tell you what happens at the steering
        committee meetings. I'm not at them. Right now it's just VPs.
kareem: I will,  just getting the view from the trenches
kareem: I usually go as well.
kareem: anyway,  just checking  I'll catch up with her on it
        later today
